Selected Readings on the Promises of Christ

Study well those promises that are thine in the 14th, 15th, 16th,
and 17th chapters of John in the King James Version, and know
that these refer to thee.  In each line, in each verse, see
self receiving those promises, those blessings that He has
promised.
272-8

First enter in as through the meditative forces within self;
through the purifying of the body, of the mind,
that it may be one and in accord, in attune with the
Creative Forces from within; setting the ideal in Him who has
promised to meet thee in the holy of holies, in the temple of
thy soul, in thy own body-consciousness.
261-15

He has promised to guide, to guard, to direct.
261-14

Let the love as He gave in His walks among men guide
thee in thy daily walks among thy fellow men.  For His
promises are sure.  His arms are not short as men's arms or
promises.  For though the world, though heaven, though the
earth may pass away, His promise, His word, His love passeth
not away.  For the world - yea, the earth - is given into His
keeping.  Then walk oft in the light of His promise, in the
hope of His coming!
254-101

Thy body is indeed the temple of the living God.  This ye know.
Have ye realized same?  Turn within.  There He hath promised
to meet thee.  He has not failed thee at any time.  Hast thou
at all times kept faith, kept thy appointments, kept thy
purpose with Him?
This may only be answered within self.  For, remember, He
hath never condemned, He never does condemn anyone.  It must
be of thine own free will.  Meditate upon that promise He
hath given, "Be not afraid, it is I."
69-5

(Q)  What has hindered me from receiving the promise made in
my Oct. 1931 reading, that I would feel and see the precious
Master, Jesus the Christ, in the present?
(A)  We find that still is holding good.  The entity has been
so close.   Keep quiet within, as ye meditate.  For, as He
has given, "As ye open the door, I will enter - Be not
afraid, it is I."  These shall be the experiences of this
entity.
69-6

Then, enter into the holy of holies of thine own inner self;
for there He hath promised to meet thee.
Let thy prayer be as this:
"As I surround myself with the consciousness of the
Christ-Mind, may I - in body, in purpose, in desire - be
purified to become the channel through which He may direct
me in that He, the Christ, would have me do."
1947-3

"The world may pass away but my word, my
promise, will not pass away!"
257-87

"When you call I will hear - and answer speedily."
165-26

"Ask in my name and ye - believing - shall have."
165-26

"If thou believest me, keep my commandments, and I will pray the
Father, and He will send that Spirit that shall abide with
thee, and keep thee when thou goest in and comest out."
254-37

"What ye ask in my name, believing - and doing my will -
will be answered in thee, if thy purposes and thy desires
are made wholly one with me."
254-101

"That asked in my name will the Father give to those
who love Him."
147-18

"As ye show forth that ye have gained by the knowledge
of the indwelling of the Christ Consciousness in self to others,
so will the harvest be."
254-60

"What ye ask in My Name, believing, ye shall receive."
254-87

"My presence - My peace - will abide and guide thee
in thine efforts day by day."
256-4

"As I have given and am in the Father, so in me may
ye do as I have done, and greater things than I have done
shall ye do, for I go to the Father, and ye in me, as ye ask
in my name, so shall it be done unto you!"
262-1

"Seek and ye shall find."
262-3

"Heaven and earth may pass away,
but my promise shall not pass away."
262-17

"If ye love me, keep my commandments,
and I will come and abide with thee;
my yoke is easy, my burden is light
to those that Love the Lord."

"If ye love me, I will come and abide with thee."
262-117

"I will abide with thee and bring to thy remembrance
all things from the beginning."

even the windows of heaven to pour out a
blessing upon thee!"

"I will stand in thy stead"
274-3

"As ye ask in my name, believing, that will
be done in thy experience that the Father may be glorified in
me and I in you."
281-20

there I will be in the midst of them."

experiences of those that seek to know My Face."
281-22

"Ye finding Me may know the joy of the Lord."
281-25

"Take no thought (if ye abide in me) when that hour comes;
for it will be given thee what thou shouldst answer them."
281-22

"If ye ask in my name, believing in thine heart, this shall be done
in thine experience."
439-2

"I will not leave thee comfortless, but ye shall be quickened
- even as the spirit in thee makes thee alive, makes thee aware of the joys that
are thine through the service that thou may render to thy
fellow man, in justness, in mercy, in just being kind, just
being gentle to those here, there, that have become and do
become thy lot to be measured with."
442-3

"If ye love me, keep my commandments, and I will not leave thee
comfortless but will come and abide with thee.  A new
commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another."
451-3

"I will not leave thee comfortless, but will come to thee,
and will show thee the ways thou shalt go,"
489-2

"Whom I will raise up - he that loveth the Lord's ways
and hateth or careth not for what may be said in ridicule."

closer than thy inner self."

543-11

"I go to prepare a place for you, that where I am there ye may be also,
and if I go I will come again and receive you unto myself, that
where I am there ye may be also."  And, "I will not leave
thee comfortless, but will come and enjoin thee in thy daily
activities, thy daily service."

For He hath promised, "Where thou needest, I AM - I AM!"
