FAITH (262-14 to 262-17)

"FAITH" READINGS
262-14 20th March, 1932
262-15 3rd of April, 1932
262-16 4th of April, 1932
262-17 17th of April, 1932

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, as to Faith - we have a real lesson, I think, on Faith, [Lesson IV, SFG I]
and I am supposed to try to teach a class tonight something about the lesson, "Faith".
Faith is an attribute, you know, of the soul.
We don't have faith in individuals.
We have Confidence.
Confidence, of course, may be an out-growth of knowledge.
"Faith," (not merely blind faith), as the writer has said,
"is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen."
Confidence may beget faith, or confidence may be broken down,
for it is only confidence when fear enters in.
We may doubt our own selves, or we may doubt our fellow man,
and that is only our lack of confidence;
but faith is of those things that we cannot see,
yet we act as if they exist.
To illustrate, we cannot see electricity; we know by experience that such things exist.
Consequently, we prepare our houses, we put the wires in,
we push the switch and the light comes on from some unseen power.
The force or power that is electricity is the same force or power we call God,
and there is ever such a current - either constructive or destructive, dependent upon how we use it.

(From Edgar Cayce's Letter to 531)

In this lesson faith is declared to be spiritual, and attribute of the soul.
"It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
It accepts or rejects without basis of reason, or that which is perceived through the five senses.
"In the material world we often mistake confidence for faith,
for we are prone to depend upon knowledge gained through the physical senses.

(by MISS ESTHER WYNNE)

"I am quite sure we do not ever want to magnify the power of material influences.
We may know they are existent.
Denying them does not lessen their power, but magnifying the spiritual does lessen their power.
That's where faith has its opportunity of making the knowledge of God more effective in our experience.
Hence our faith is not always the blind thing some would have us believe,
but 'What ye ask in my name, believing, that ye shall have.'

(From Edgar Cayce's Letter to 2110)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As EACH HAVE THEIR OWN CONCEPT OF FAITH,
as to whether this is GROUNDED IN EXPERIENCE
in relationship to LIFE'S ACTIVITIES IN THE MATERIAL,
or to the ACTIVITIES IN THE MENTAL,
DEPENDS much UPON what has been
HELD as THE IDEAL OF THAT INDIVIDUAL.
(262-14)

In the beginning, then, as we would find,
the ANALYSIS OF SELF
as to whether THIS THAT IS HELD
is CONFIDENCE or FAITH
is the first question
as would naturally arise
IN THE MINDS
of EACH INDIVIDUAL.
(262-14)

FAITH, as has been defined by Barnabas,
is THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR.
(262-14)

Brought into MATERIAL ASPECTS,
we find the greater portion
as partakes of that
as has been termed THE SENSING,
or that of the whole of THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
in a physical, living organism,
that makes such AN INDIVIDUAL
aware OF THAT CONCEPT.
This is rather CONFIDENCE.
(262-14)

THAT that has been
BROUGHT INTO THE CONSCIOUSNESS
THROUGH THE ACTIVITY
OF THE SPIRITUAL FORCES
MANIFESTING IN and THROUGH
that of THE SPIRITUAL FORCE of THE INDIVIDUAL.
THEN BECOMES THE ESSENCE of FAITH ITSELF.
(262-14)

To MOST INDIVIDUALS
there is seen that LITTLE BECOMES
in the SCOPE OF ACCEPTANCE
except THEY LIVE BY FAITH
that they BECOME AWARE OF.
(262-14)

MAGNIFY in the WORDS OF MOUTH,
the ACTS of the BODY and HAND,
THAT as is GIVEN DAY BY DAY.

As the IDEAL is A GROWTH.

As THE ACTIVITIES of the PHYSICAL
and MENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS
THROUGH CONFIDENCE
BRINGS THAT SEEKING
of THE MENTAL and MATERIAL BODY
TO AWAKEN to the SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES.

SO may the GROWTH IN FAITH
BRING  the ACTIVATING FORCES of the SPIRIT
THAT MAKES ALIVE in THE FLESH.
(262-14)

IN THE EXERCISING OF THE FAITH
DOES THERE COME TO EACH
THAT as may be GIVEN ANOTHER ANOTHER
FOR THEIR ENLIGHTENMENT.
(262-15)

Fill those that have been outlined
with that as may be furnished
as EXPERIENCES of INDIVIDUALS,
as to THE TESTS
whether of FAITH or CONFIDENCE,
ACCORDING to that held as THE IDEAL.
And, as given,
whether it partakes of
THE PHYSICAL CONSCIOUS SENSE
or that of THE SPIRITUAL INTUITIVE FORCES
as comes from CLOSE COMMUNION with
THE HOLY SPIRIT,
THE PROMISED COMFORTER,
THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE CHRIST.
(262-15)

As has been promised,
"MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT", and
"TAKE NO THOUGHT OF WHAT YE SHALL SAY
IN THE HOUR OF TRIAL OR TEST,
FOR IT WILL BE GIVEN THEE
THAT AS IS NECESSARY
FOR THE RENEWING OF THAT SPIRIT
THAT MAKES FOR THE UNDERSTANDING of
'HIS SPIRIT BEARETH WITNESS WITH THY SPIRIT.'"
(262-15)

Then, MEET EACH STEP as is shown thee.
Remembering that He has promised,
"I AM WITH THEE ALWAYS,
EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD.
I WILL NOT LEAVE THEE COMFORTLESS,
BUT WILL COME TO THEE,
and HE THAT TAKES MY CROSS
SHALL NOT BEAR IT ALONE."
(262-15)

ADD unto thy FAITH
WORKS THAT SHOWETH FORTH
THOSE ATTRIBUTES
that are EXPRESSIONS
of HIS SPIRIT in THE WORLD.
So shall it, THE FAITH,
become THE EVIDENCE
of THINGS NOT SEEN,
and HIS GRACE, HIS MERCIES,
will ABIDE WITH YOU
whithersoever thou goest.
PEACE be with thee!
Not as the world gives peace;
rather as that that has lost self,
self's personality, in Him.

(262-15)

As EACH INDIVIDUAL
uses that KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING
as pertains to the ATTRIBUTES OF THE SPIRIT
of TRUTH, LIFE, LIGHT and UNDERSTANDING,
so does there come THAT GROWTH,
even as BROUGHT THE WORLDS INTO BEING.
And being, places, things, spots,
that are brought into being
through such ACTIVITY OF AN ENTITY, self,
IS INDEED HOLY.
There is that, then, in the self, in the entity,
seeking that may find, and may come
to know the CLOSER RELATIONSHIPS
with THE HOLY ACTIVATING FORCES
in a material world.
(262-15)

As there is BROUGHT INTO CREATION,
as IN THE BEGINNING,
there are THE ATTRIBUTES
of EVERY FORCE, POWER,
as it may be MAGNIFIED
in whatever SOURCE OF CREATION
as is EXEMPLIFIED IN THE ACT.

In man given
that as of WILL,
and THE SOUL,
with that as IS THE ATTRIBUTE
TO KEEP THOSE FORCES IN A LINE
with that that takes of the source of its emanation,
and IN FAITH - then - GROWS TO BE ONE WITH;
or going away from,
by the exercising of same
in another direction.

So does THE SOUL,
or that as SEPARATES AN ENTITY FROM THE WHOLE,
GROW IN WHATEVER DIRECTION
the EXERCISING OF THE ATTRIBUTE,
as GIFT, as a FORCE, as POWER,
MAGNIFIED in the CREATION OF FORCES
IN THE BEGINNINGS.

So DOES IT SHOW FORTH IN INDIVIDUALS
according to that as THE MANNER or WAY
in which it, THE FAITH IS USED
as respecting THOSE ATTRIBUTES OF INDIVIDUALS
as RELATED TO THE CREATIVE FORCE, or GOD HIMSELF.
(262-15)

As has just been outlined as to how FAITH,
AS AN ATTRIBUTE that came into being
as THE SON in which THE FAITH IS MAGNIFIED
as to make those ACTIVE FORCES IN WILL,
and the GROWTH OF THE SOUL.

So, as is seen in individuals as would say,
"Yes, I believe - but" "but" meaning there is that doubt,
that by the comparison of some individual,
individuals or circumstances in their experience,
when, where, or how, that individuals spoke
yet acted in a manner as if that did not exist!

Then, creating that doubt for self,
applying to self, brings about that
as is the opposite of faith,
or else partakes of that within the conscious mind
that begins with the lessons
that must be answered
by the attributes of the physical consciousness,
that seek for a demonstration through those senses of the body
that makes for an awareness
to the physical being;
yet, as is seen, these are the manners
in which the variations to individuals
reach those various conditions or circumstances
in their experience.
(262-15)

In the study of lesson on FAITH,
this becomes A LIVING TRUTH
as EACH APPLIES in THEIR EXPERIENCE
THAT GAINED in MEDITATION and PRAYER
upon THAT ATTRIBUTE OF CREATIVE FORCES,
for IT IN ESSENCE IS CREATIVE
IN ITS ACTIVE PRINCIPLE
IN EXPERIENCES OF INDIVIDUALS
IN THEIR LIVES.
(262-17)

Then, AS ONE APPLIES THAT AS KNOWN,
is there given THE UNDERSTANDING
as to that that may INCREASE or ENLARGE,
or make same become living in their experience.
(262-17)

As self is lost in doing HIS biddings
does the FAITH grow;
For growth is made through
the exercising of, the LOSING of, self in Him.
In Him, then, as we see
the ATTRIBUTES OF the Father
in the daily walks of life.
(262-17)

FAITH is THE ESSENCE of CREATIVE FORCES
WITHIN THE ACTIVE FORCE OF THAT OF AN INDIVIDUAL
to which they apply themselves
in the spiritual activity of their experience.
(262-17)

So, in the application of that known to self
as an expression of that faith
as is manifest in every child of God - that in its active force
puts that known into operation - does this grow, expand,
or BECOME the basis OF the activities of self
in those directions as necessary.
(262-17)
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Faith. As each have their own concept of faith,
as to whether this is grounded in experience
in relationship to life's activities in the material,
or to the activities in the mental,
depends much upon what has been held
as the ideal of that individual.

In the beginning, then, as we would find,
the analysis of self as to whether this that is held is confidence or faith
is the first question as would naturally arise in the minds of each individual.

Faith, as has been defined by Barnabas, is the substance of things hoped for.

Then there is illustrated the activities of individuals as to how,
through the exercising of that prerogative,
that through which is brought into beings the worlds
as is manifest before each individual that looks about them
with the view to ascertaining that they are a portion OF the Whole,
yet with the abilities to discern all, and able to use that
that will bring the same exercising of that prerogative
as the spirit of the Father brings through faith into that BEING
where this may be of this or that sphere of man's own perception.

Brought into material aspects, we find the greater portion as partakes of that
as has been termed the sensing,
or that of the whole of the nervous system in a physical, living organism,
that makes such an individual aware OF that concept.
This is rather confidence.

That that has been brought into the consciousness
through the activity OF the spiritual forces
manifesting in and through that of the spiritual force of the individual.
Then becomes the essence of faith itself.

Hence, as has been termed by many, that FAITH - PURE faith
- accepting or rejecting without basis of reason,
or BEYOND the ken or scope of that as is perceived
through that that man brings to his own activity
through that of his five senses;
yet to most individuals there is seen
that LITTLE becomes in the scope of acceptance except
they LIVE by faith that they become aware of.

For, as has been said, ye with faith as much as a mustard seed
may say unto the mountain be thou removed and cast into the sea.

MOST say they believe, and yet begin at once
to explain as to how this means in the mental
rather than in the material source.

Hence we find faith not of the senses,
else it becomes confidence in personalities
of the experiences of the senses
within themselves or others.

Then, when troubles and doubts arise, they immediately begin to sink,
even as Peter in the presence of Life itself. [See also 262-15]

In the concepts then, as individuals in the group, in the first portion of this lesson
let each so examine themselves in the light of that they have attained
with the concept of their individual ideal,
and we will find upon what faith is founded in THEIR experience.
--
As has been given, in the exercising of the faith
does there come to each that as may be given
another for their enlightenment.

In the preparations of self, as individuals, as a group,
these are of the exercising of that talent or ability
as is the heritage of each,
plus that as may be gained by the cooperation of one with another
in the light of that as is seen in self
through that as chosen as the ideal of individual, of the group.

In the manner of presenting same, that as has been chosen
that comes through the concerted action of self
in response to those surrounding environs,
and the seeking of self for that knowledge
as will enable self to give expression
to that as is experienced within the individual
in responding to those opportunities
as are presented from day to day
to put that as is the experience
into active thought, active being;
activating, then, one with another,
toward that as may be given out to others
to enlighten them as respecting their relationships
with the creative forces, with their fellow man.

As is seen by those of the first of the lessons,
these are builded step by step,
that there may be seen that which may become a living truth
in the lives of individuals, known and seen
of those who may come in contact either with the life of the individuals
so applying same, or that as may be given by the group as a whole.
--
In the study of lesson on FAITH,
this becomes a living truth
as each applies in their experience
that gained in meditation and prayer
upon that attribute of creative forces,
for it in essence IS creative in its active principle
in experiences of individuals in their lives.

Then, as one applies that as known,
is there given the understanding
as to that that may increase or enlarge,
or make same become living in their experience.
--

(Q) Should we begin to distribute the lessons as already prepared?
(A) WELL that first there be found those in the various outlined principals
that are to be teachers, ministers, or one FORMING such groups,
and prepare THEM FOR that they ARE TO do in their respective spheres;
else it will turn again with that as is poorly prepared.

(Q) [333] & [602]: How may we as members of the group through cooperation grow stronger in faith,
and through a knowledge of self attain to those ideals as are set in self for the part
in this great work that each would accomplish with the help of all?
(A) Studying to show thyself approved unto God day by day,
rightly dividing the words of truth,
and keeping self unspotted from the world.
There is builded in the meditations, and in the gathering of others here, there,
to gain the understanding necessary to bring about a revolution, a revelation,
an awakening in THIS place as HAS not been seen in many a day!
Making those truths as are known in self LIVING truths,
through the active force of the SPIRIT of TRUTH itself.
Do that.

(Q) [255]: Is the faith of man in Buddha or Mohammed
equal in the effect on his soul to the faith in Jesus Christ?
(A) As He gave, he that receiveth a prophet in the NAME of a prophet RECEIVES the prophet's reward,
or that ABILITY that that individual spiritual force MAY manifest in the life of that individual.
Hence, as each teacher, minister or seer, or prophet, receives that obeisance
as is giving the life from that faith and hope as held by that as an individual,
in the Christ is found that as the advocate WITH the Father
and the spirit of the Father glorified in him that approaches through that manner,
without that as is approached in the spiritual activity of any individual;
For individuality is last lost, even as man in spirit overcomes death in the material;
Even as He overcame death in the material, and able to put on immortality in a material world,
bringing to man not only of flesh that endowed WITH the ability to be one WITH the Father
but magnifying the Father IN the individual yet in the material plane.
Hence, as we find, each in their respective spheres are but stepping-stones
to that that may awaken in the individual the knowledge of the Son in their lives.

(Q) How can I so strengthen my faith so as to become
a fitting channel of help in God's healing of my daughter, [275]?
(A) Magnify in the words of mouth, the acts of the body and hand, that as is GIVEN day by day.
As the ideal is a growth, as the activities of the physical and mental consciousness
through confidence brings that seeking of the mental and material body
to awaken to the spiritual activities, so may the GROWTH in faith BRING
the activating forces of the spirit that makes alive in the flesh.
--
(Q) [993]: In passing through the test that has come with the sign that was promised,
has my faith been sufficient?
Would appreciate more light regarding same, and how I should act.
(A) As has been promised, "My grace is sufficient", and "Take no thought of what ye shall say in the hour of trial or test,
for it will be given thee that as is necessary for the renewing of that spirit that makes for the understanding of
'His Spirit beareth witness with thy spirit.'"
Then, meet each step as is shown thee, remembering that He has promised,
"I am with thee always, even unto the end of the world.
I will not leave thee comfortless, but will come to thee,
and he that takes my cross shall not bear it alone."

(Q) [560]: Could the entity receive a message at this time that her faith may be strengthened?
(A) Add unto thy faith works, that showeth forth those attributes that are expressions of His Spirit in the world.
So shall it, the faith, become the evidence of things not seen, and His grace, His mercies,
will abide with you whithersoever thou goest.
Peace be with thee!
Not as the world gives peace;
rather as that that has lost self, self's personality, in Him.

(Q) [[69]'s husband]: Please explain what was meant in reading of March 6th,
by "Use that thou hast in hand, for the ground whereon thou standest is holy!"? [262-13]
(A) As each individual uses that knowledge and understanding as pertains
to the attributes of the spirit of truth, life, light and understanding,
so does there come that growth, even as brought the worlds into being;
and being, places, things, spots, that are brought into being
through such activity of an entity, self, is indeed holy.
There is that, then, in the self, in the entity, seeking that may find, and may come
to know the closer relationships with the holy activating forces in a material world.

(Q) We present the outline on FAITH, which I hold in my hand.
Please suggest any further headings which should be added.
(A) Rather would we fill those that have been outlined with that as may be furnished as experiences of individuals,
as to the tests whether of faith or confidence, according to that held as the ideal;
and, as given, whether it partakes of the physical conscious sense or that of the spiritual intuitive forces
as comes from close communion with the Holy Spirit, the promised Comforter, the consciousness of the Christ.

(Q) When in the meditation of FAITH, we are told to pray, "Create in me a pure heart, O God".
Does the word "heart" refer to the subconscious mind?
Please give some light on the word "heart".
(A) As in the physical body the heart considered the seat, or the source of that which impels life to all portions of the body.
In that sense, then, in creating in me a pure heart, a pure soul, a pure purpose,
that in all forces, all circumstance, all conditions, in all the active forces of the body, in mind
or in physical contact, may bring as life, light, understanding, to those contacted
- as does the heart to the body.
This as an attribute, or a representation then, as is used to signify that purpose, that intent, that life, that characterization,
of the active forces of an entity, a body, a mind, the imaginative forces, the conscious forces, the subconscious or soul forces.
Not as of the subconscious alone; rather that that illustrates, as of the seat, the source, the activating forces
that IMPEL those as would do His biddings.
As: "Create within me a pure heart, O God, and RENEW a right, righteous, holy spirit within me."

(Q) Please give some information as to how we come to have faith;
is it a gift of God and developed through the use of it?
(A) As there is brought into creation, as in the beginning, there are the attributes of every force, power,
as it may be magnified in whatever source of creation as is exemplified in the act.
In man given that as of will, and the soul,
with that as is the attribute to keep those forces in a line
with that that takes of the source of its emanation,
and in faith - then - grows (the will) to be one with;
or going away from, by the exercising of same in another direction.
So does the soul, or that as separates an entity from the whole,
grow in whatever direction the exercising of the attribute,
as gift, as a force, as power, magnified in the creation of forces in the beginnings.
So does it show forth in individuals according to that as the manner or way in which it, the faith,
is used as respecting those attributes of individuals as related to the Creative Force, or God himself.

(Q) Please explain by illustration (Reading March 20th) "Most say they believe, and yet begin at once to explain
as to how this means in the mental rather in the material source". [262-14]
(A) As has just been outlined as to how faith, as an attribute that came into being as the Son
- in which the faith is magnified as to make those active forces in will, and the growth of the soul.
So, as is seen in individuals as would say, "Yes, I believe - but" "but" meaning there is that doubt,
that by the comparison of some individual, individuals or circumstances in their experience,
when, where, or how, that individuals spoke yet acted in a manner as if that did not exist!
Then, creating that doubt for self, applying to self, brings about that as is the opposite of faith,
or else partakes of that within the conscious mind that begins with the lessons
that must be answered by the attributes of the physical consciousness,
that seek for a demonstration through those senses of the body that makes for an awareness
to the physical being; yet, as is seen, these are the manners in which the variations to individuals
reach those various conditions or circumstances in their experience.
--
(Q) [413]: What is the comparative extent of my faith,
and how may I extend and use it to achieve the most benefit?
(A) Just as given, faith is the essence of creative forces
within the active force of that of an individual
to which they apply themselves in the spiritual activity of their experience.
So, in the application of that known to self as an expression of that faith
as is manifest in every child of God - that in its active force
puts that known into operation - does this grow, expand,
or BECOME the basis OF the activities of self
in those directions as necessary.
As the ensample, or examples, as were given by those patriarch of old,
or as has been experienced in self's own experience,
that once awakened to the abilities within self
DARE to do for Him that as has been done even for self!

(Q) [255]: Staten Island, N.Y.: Should faith healing be included in the teachings of theology?
If so, who is best qualified to teach it?
(A) There has been given by those in the orthodox manner those who SHOULD, THROUGH faith,
laying on of hands, anointing with oil, praying over same.
There is, in the broader sense, that innate in each individual that may be awakened
to those abilities in their activity, are they willing to attune themselves
to the laws as pertain to the active forces in self's OWN experience,
keeping self unspotted and clean from the world,
and KEEPING that that brings according in the body
that necessary for its awakening to its own spiritual activity.
Who shall do such?
Such as are called in their own experience.
Knowing that as has been given, to some is given teaching,
to others healing, to others ministry,
to others on the various forces as are attributes of His love,
His force, in a material world.
One that is so given, then, let them SANCTIFY THEIR selves,
THEIR bodies, THEIR minds, to his FELLOW MAN'S service;
For he that lendeth to the Lord covers a multitude of sins.

(Q) [115]: Is my faith manifested in my East Indian incarnation sufficient for today? [See 115-1.]
(A) Sufficient to the day is the evil or the good thereof.
Putting rather in practice that as is known in the present is sufficient to make the growth
attain that as MAY be even GREATER MANIFESTED in the present;
For that as experience in the various spheres of activity is as the background
and the STAYING forces, that through faith, through the promise,
all things are brought to remembrance in thy spiritual activity!

(Q) [288]: Are my attempts at meditation accomplishing anything outside myself?
(A) These are but questionings of self, and questionings of the promises as are given!
Might be termed lack of faith in self or the promise, for each thought, each atom,
has its own weight as is expended in whatever direction it MAY be guided by the thought of self!
To be sure, it ACCOMPLISHES, then, that in self and that outside of self.
He that doubteth, then - doubteth self, doubteth Him!

(Q) In what position may I best meditate?
(A) As has been given, there are given to each their own respective manners,
from their varied experiences, as to HOW, as to form.
If FORM becomes that that is the guiding element, then the hope or the faith is lost in form!
He that made long prayer, or he that not even raised his eyes but smote his breast and said,
"God be merciful to me, a sinner!"
WHO was justified?
He that in humbleness of self, humbleness of mind, humbleness of the whole INDIVIDUALITY
(LOSING personality in Him) comes; and in WHATSOEVER manner that - whether prone,
whether standing, whether walking, or whether sleeping - we live, we die, in the Lord.

(Q) How can I make my faith more active and worthwhile in the lives of others?
(A) By exemplifying it in self;
For we individuals are as reflections to others
of that we worship in OUR own selves.
Let your light so shine that others, seeing their light, may GLORIFY God.

(Q) [303]: How can I increase my faith?
(A) Continuing to lose self in the thought of Him
who is able to make the tiny seed bring forth the great tree.
As self is lost in doing HIS biddings does the FAITH grow;
For growth is made through the exercising of, the LOSING of, self in Him.
In Him, then, as we see the ATTRIBUTES OF the Father in the daily walks of life.
By FAITH a cup of water given brings its reward to self, and quenches the thirst of the thirsty.
By FAITH a kind word brings that joy to the one spoken to, and to self that knowledge of - in HIS name.
Not that it BRINGS to self as a reward, but the REWARD is as of that BROUGHT to self by the act.
Great difference!

(Q) [404]: In praying, should a prayer be kept up persistently until a definite answer is given,
or should one only ask and leave the rest with God?
(A) Seek and ye shall find.
Know in whom thou hast believed, and believe - in faith - He is able to commit that THOU hast committed unto Him
against ANY condition in thine experience.
THY will, O Lord, be done - not mine! ASK - leave the result with Him.
His promises are sure. "Heaven and earth may pass away, but my promise shall NOT pass away."

(Q) [2125]: What is the meaning of the name "Abercrombie" that so often comes to me?
(A) An associate of the entity in its activity through its spiritual forces,
or those that come WITH its activity in itself.

(Q) Please explain further regarding the name Abercrombie.
(A) Just as given.

(Q) [379]: How can I strengthen my faith?
(A) Put that thou hast to the test in thine self.
Know that, as it is used, it grows.

(Q) [2124]: Please explain more explicitly the following answer to my question
 [262-13].
(A) As the ideal of an entity is set, and the entity knows or gives that activity,
or the abilities of its ideal in a given direction,
then the use of that as IS in hand as respecting such an ideal
strengthens ALL attributes as RESPECTING the ACTIVITIES of same in self.
So, as is given, use that thou hast in hand, for the more PERFECT understanding comes
with the more knowledge of that as is known that may be used in the daily experiences of self.
